From Campus to Career
Our Enhance Programme is a series of seminars, talks, and targeted role-play activities — such as mock interviews and competency assessments — for young graduates and undergraduates, aimed at developing their professional and entrepreneurial competencies and soft skills.
These events also provide a vital opportunity for beneficiaries to network with industry experts and experienced professionals across various fields, helping them gain real-world insights into the world of work and business, as well as facilitating potential career decisions and job placement.
Each edition is themed around a key area of professional development — past themes have included Professional Development and Developing an Entrepreneurial Mindset — featuring keynote speakers drawn from senior industry leadership.

Keynote Talks
Industry leaders and senior professionals deliver keynote addresses on themes such as Professional Development and Entrepreneurial Mindset, sharing real-world insights and lessons learned from their careers.
Individual Presentations
Participants present on pre-assigned or self-chosen topics — including business proposals — to a panel of Assessors who provide structured, constructive feedback to drive improvement.
Team Challenge Exercises
Inspired by formats like the British Apprentice, teams are given a hypothetical business idea to develop and pitch to a panel of judges — sharpening teamwork, strategy, and presentation skills under pressure.
Mock Interviews & Assessments
Simulated interview scenarios and competency-based assessments that prepare participants for real recruitment processes, building confidence and self-awareness.
Networking Opportunities
Structured and informal networking sessions connect beneficiaries with experienced professionals, opening doors to mentorship, career guidance, and potential job placement.
Expert Feedback & Coaching
A panel of Assessors provides detailed, personalised feedback on every presentation and exercise — giving participants a clear picture of their strengths and areas for growth.

1st Enhance Seminar
August 2023 — Calabar, Cross River StateAround 40 students from tertiary institutions across Cross River State attended this inaugural all-day event. Guest speaker Mr. Yegwa Ukpo, Group CEO of TSI Holdings Ltd, delivered a keynote on Professional Development.
Participants delivered individual presentations on a pre-assigned topic, with a panel of Assessors providing detailed feedback. Teams then tackled a hypothetical project-based exercise and presented their findings to the group.
2nd Enhance Seminar
August 2024 — Calabar, Cross River StateThe second edition raised the bar with a keynote on 'Developing an Entrepreneurial Mindset' delivered by Mr. Kenneth Asim Ittah, Executive Secretary of the Calabar Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (CALCCIMA).
Beneficiaries presented their own business proposals, followed by an Apprentice-style team challenge where groups developed and pitched business ideas to a panel of judges who provided critical, actionable feedback.

Who Can Apply?
The Enhance Programme is open to undergraduates and recent graduates who are ready to invest in their professional future
Eligibility Criteria
- Currently enrolled at a tertiary institution, or a recent graduate (within 2 years)
- Demonstrated ambition and desire for professional development
- Identified as financially constrained through background assessment (for scholarship beneficiaries)
- Located within or able to travel to the programme's host location
- Commitment to active participation in all seminar activities
- Willingness to engage with the ASPIRE core values
- Open to peer and panel feedback as part of the development process
